Volunteers Needed for Council Service Project

This Fall, GSHH will hold a series of events in memory of one of our many sister Girl Scouts, Amerie Jo Garza. Amerie is one of the children who was killed in the tragic school shooting in Uvalde, TX. Amerie wanted to be an Art Teacher so the events will be art themed. The plan is to have at least one event in every County and to collect art supplies to be donated in each County. We will be creating a memory book of the art done by Girl Scouts to send to Amerie’s family.
We currently need Volunteers to organize Dutchess, Putnam and Sullivan Counties.
- In Westchester, we are planning events at Port Chester/Rye and Cortlandt Manor, we would love volunteers for some other locations.
- We need suggestions in each County where art supplies should be donated.
- We also need a volunteer to help organize the memory book, possibly using Shutterfly.
