This year, Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson’s Annual Giving Campaign focuses on a simple idea: gratitude. We are grateful for Juliette Gordon Low, who gathered 18 girls in Savannah in 1912 and built something the world didn’t yet know it needed. We are grateful for the volunteers who give girls room to lead, the troop leaders who build circles of friendship across every age and difference, and the girls themselves, who show up exactly as they are and make the rest of us better for it.
The dollars raised by this campaign ensure that every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout has that opportunity. GSHH is committed to championing girls as today’s visionaries and tomorrow’s change-makers.
We also remain committed to making sure our camps and Girl Scout Houses stay safe havens where girls can try new things, be fully themselves, and find their people — the friendships, mentors, and communities that stay with them long after they’ve earned their last badge.
