Hello Girl Scout Families,
We are excited to share a special opportunity for Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson to attend the Girl Scout National Convention session in Washington, D.C., in June 2026. Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to travel as representatives of our council while participating in this national Girl Scout experience.
In addition to attending National Convention programming, participants will explore historic and meaningful sites, including Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian Museums, and more—bringing leadership, civic engagement, and Girl Scout values to life.
To answer questions and share important details, we will be hosting a virtual informational meeting on Wednesday, February 11th at 6:30 PM. During this meeting, we will review the National Convention experience, travel itinerary, what is included in the cost, safety measures, and available scholarship opportunities.

Space for this experience is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance at the informational meeting is required in order to enroll in the tour.
This is a truly meaningful opportunity for Girl Scouts to connect with Girl Scouts from across the country and represent Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson on a national level. We are thrilled to offer this experience and hope you will join us to learn more.
