After being closed for two and a half years due to COVID-19 and needed repairs, the Betty Taubert Girl Scout House in Scarsdale, NY had is grand re-opening ceremony on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. On hand to mark this occasion were Girl Scouts and volunteers from the Scarsdale/Edgemont Service Unit, GSHH staff members including Interim CEO Helen Wronski, and officials from the Village of Scarsdale including Mayor Jane Veron and Village Manager Rob Cole.
Mayor Veron and GSHH Board Member Donna Halperin cut the ribbon to officially re-open the building. Attendees were then invited inside for a brief reception with Girl Scout Cookies, apple cider, and other fall treats. Girl Scouts and their families were particularly excited to be back in the building and were invisioning all of the posibilities now available to them.
With this grand re-opening, GSHH is pleased to inform you that the upstairs and downstairs spaces at the Betty Taubert Girl Scout House is now available for registration in Doubleknot for both daytime meetings and overnights.
