Operation Cookie Drop Celebrates 1.5 Millions Packages Donates

On Saturday, June 17, 2023, Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson's volunteer-led Girl Scout Cookie Donation program, Operation Cookie Drop, celebrated the incredible milestone of receiving its 1,500,000th donated package of Girl Scout Cookies.
Led by GSHH volunteer Alison Bergman, Girl Scouts from throughout GSHH's council footprint gathered at Edith Macy Center in Briarcliff Manor to collect troop and Service Unit donations of Girl Scout Cookies to be sent to active and veteran military personnel at home and overseas.
Started in 2002, Operation Cookie Drop is GSHH's council-wide volunteer-led effort to send donated cookies to our troops overseas, in hospitals, and in veterans’ homes. Each year, over 100k packages are donated to the program.
