As Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson continues to evolve and grow, we remain committed to making thoughtful decisions that strengthen our organization and position us for long-term success. As part of that commitment, we are pleased to introduce three strategic partners who will help expand our capacity, enhance expertise, and support the future of our Council:
*GSHH members should continue to contact Member Care with any questions.
These partnerships represent an investment in the future of Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson. By engaging organizations with specialized expertise in philanthropy, financial operations, and investment management, we are strengthening the foundation that supports our mission and ensuring that our resources are managed effectively, responsibly, and sustainably.
As we introduce these partners, it is important to recognize what will not change.
Our success as a Council has always been built on the relationships developed by our volunteers, families, alumnae, community leaders, donors, Board members, and staff. Those relationships remain essential to who we are and how we serve girls throughout our region.
For example, while Advanced Collaborative will provide strategic expertise and additional fundraising capacity, they are not responsible for creating the community connections that make Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson unique. We will continue to rely on our members, volunteers, Board, staff, donors, and community partners to help introduce new supporters, build relationships, and share the story of Girl Scouting throughout our communities. Together, we will combine local knowledge and relationships with specialized fundraising expertise to create even greater opportunities for the future.
Similarly, our partnerships with Hiline and Morgan Stanley provide access to experienced professionals and industry best practices that will further strengthen financial stewardship, oversight, and long-term planning while allowing Council leadership to remain focused on serving our membership and advancing our mission.
Some members may notice changes in how certain operational and administrative functions are supported. As the Leadership Team at GSHH works to transition specific responsibilities to our strategic partners, some points of contact and behind-the-scenes processes may evolve. However, our commitment to transparency, responsiveness, and member support remains unchanged.
These partnerships are designed to enhance our organizational effectiveness while ensuring continuity, accountability, and the high level of service our members expect. The expertise these organizations bring complements the work of our staff, volunteers, and Board rather than replacing it.
We want our membership to view these organizations as true partners in our mission. To help build those relationships, representatives from Advanced Collaborative, Hiline, and Morgan Stanley will be actively engaged with Council leadership and Board governance structures, including participation in appropriate Board Committee meetings such as Finance, Philanthropy, and the Investment Sub-Committee.
Their involvement will provide opportunities for collaboration, shared learning, and ongoing dialogue as we work together to advance the long-term goals of Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson.
Over the coming weeks, we will be highlighting each of these organizations in greater detail so that our membership can learn more about the people behind the partnerships, their experience, and the ways they will support our Council. These spotlights will help introduce the individuals who will be working alongside us and demonstrate how their expertise supports our mission and strategic priorities.
We believe that strong partnerships are built on relationships, trust, and communication, and we look forward to creating opportunities for our members to get to know these teams better.
While organizational structures and operational approaches may evolve, our mission remains unchanged. Every decision is guided by our commitment to delivering high-quality Girl Scout experiences, supporting volunteers and families, and creating opportunities that help girls discover their strengths, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact in their communities.
We are confident that these strategic partnerships will strengthen fundraising, financial stewardship, and long-term sustainability, helping to ensure that Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson remains well-positioned to serve girls for generations to come.
Most importantly, these changes allow us to remain focused on what matters most: empowering girls to discover, connect, and take action.
Together, we are building a stronger foundation today to ensure that Girl Scouts continues to thrive tomorrow.
