Why renew your membership early?
Not only does it help GSHH plan programming for the upcoming year, it helps girls and their troops get the most out of their Girl Scout year. Also, you'll be eligible for some of the fun incentives that GSHH has put together.
Our first round of incentives is for the early birds! Girls and troop leaders will be eligible for these exciting incentives when they renew by the following deadlines:
Renew by 4/30/22:
Girls: Receive a fidgit gift.
Troop Leaders: Renew 100% of your troop (including 2 trained and background checked leaders) and you will receive a $50 pampering gift certificate* toward a self-care pampering session near you. (*limit to first 25 troops to qualify)
Troops: Troops with 100% renewal will be entered into a drawing to win a day at LEGOLAND New York in Goshen! Entrance will include the registered girls and two leaders per troop. Two troops will be drawn to receive this package.
Renew by 5/13/22:
Attend an exclusive member-only event featuring Girl Scout alum, actress, and author Kristen Bell! During the Paint Your World Purple virtual event, she’ll be sharing the themes of her book “The World Needs More Purple People” and taking questions from Girl Scouts like you! A truly amazing experience that you won’t want to miss.
Opportunity to register for a GSHH watch party – Includes GSUSA member-only event, a book reading of Kristen Bell’s new children’s book, “The World Needs More Purple Schools,” snacks, and a game.
Renew by 5/31/22:
Girls: Girls will earn an extra $0.05 per box of cookies sold in 2023 for their troop. Girls must also participate in the Fall Product Sale to receive this incentive.
Troops: Early Program Registration! Troops with 100% renewal will receive an appointment in August to register, before everyone else, for one of the programs being offered from 10/1/22 – 5/31/23. Registration for all troops opens on 10/1/22.
Renew by 6/30/22:
Girls: Girls will earn an Early Bird Patch.
Troop Leaders: All troop leaders with 90% retention (renewed girls) will be entered into a drawing to win 2 tickets to an entertainment venue in the Hudson Valley.
Service Units: Service units with 75% retention by 6/30/2022 for MY23 will receive $100. This will be sent to the SU bank account via ACH deposit.
*Incentives are cumulative. Those who renew by 4/30 will be eligible for all incentives below.
