GSHH Volunteer Extravaganza!
Dear GSHH Volunteers,
As you may know, GSHH's Volunteer Conference was postponed on September 26 due to a weather related State of Emergency. While we were disappointed to have to postpone, we are confident that we've come up with something even more exciting.
After reviewing our internal calendars, and considering the busy schedules of our members, we have settled on a rescheduled date and reimagined event that will work best for GSHH.
We are happy to announce that Saturday, February 27, 2027 is not only the new date for the Volunteer Conference, but a three event Volunteer Extravaganza at Sonesta White Plains!
The event will combine all levels of Girl Scout volunteerism:
Volunteer Conference: 9am-5pm
GSHH Annual Meeting: 9:30am-11:30am
2027 Awards & Recognitions Awardee Spotlight: 12pm
Breakfast will served from 8:30am-9:15am and lunch will be served from 12:20pm-2:00pm.
For those who weren't able to join us in September and would like to register, we will be evaluating session availability and will reopen registration by the end of October. Please stay tuned for more details!
If you are already registered, all you need to do is let us know if you are planning on attending on 2/27 or if you are unable to make it. If you haven't already done so, please fill out this form by Monday, 10/19 and let us know. If you can't make it, Member Care will be in touch to process your selection.
Voting members of GSHH (Board Members, Service Unit Delegates, National Delegates, and Board Development Committee members) will be able to attend both the Annual Meeting in the morning and the afternoon Volunteer Conference sessions. Please let us know if you plan to join us.
This year's full Adult Awards and Recognitions ceremony will be virtual on Tuesday, February 23, 2027 – honorees who are in attendance on Saturday, 2/27 will be highlighted between the morning events and lunch.
