Beyond the camp session...
A week at Rock Hill Camp has so much more to offer than the session your camper is registered for! Here are some of the highlights that are in store for them this summer!
Week 1 - June 29 - July 4
Week 1: Fourth of July Carnival All Camp
- Camp Craftaway- Tie Dye Archery!
- Rock Hill Camp Classic (J)- The biggest selling point is the classic camp experience, friendships, fire, fun!
- Night Owl-Late night party, Camp After Dark
- Treetops and Trails- Offsite Fieldtrip to Boundless Adventures, Backpacking!
- Elemental Reactions- Use the elements to create a masterpiece
- Super STARs- Learn about the behind the scenes of a Kitchen with our camp chef
- Program Aide- Earn the program aide pin
- CIT I- Learn what it takes to be a counselor, help lead activity sessions at camp
Week 2 - July 6 - July 11

- Birds, Deer, Foxes, Oh My!- This program features a service project to help animals at Rock Hill!
- Curtain Call- Put on a theater production from start to finish, Costume Design
- Wands and Wizadry (C)- Wand Making and Crafting a Book of Monsters (Badge-related)
- Extreme Cuisine- Compete in a 3-course meal challenge
- Wood You Build It- Craft a large-scale project and earn Think Like an Engineer Journey with a special take action project
- Junior Leadership- Start of the leadership journey, what it takes to be a leader at home, school
Week 3 - July 13 - July 18

- Messy Madness- A camp all about being messy, Slime relay races!
- Creative Cooking- Chopped Competition
- Mysterious RH Society- A week long mystery adventure! Find the missing thing from RH! (Last year they had to dig up the lost spoons)
- Outpost I- Primitive Camping Adventure, Opportunity for Beginners to learn strong outdoor skills
- OIT- Learn about key magic makers on camp, Shadow activity specialists, waterfront, and core team. See beyond the counselors, what helps make camp run! Career exploration
- CIT II- spend your time focusing on shadowing staff and gaining hands-on experience in leadership and being a camp staff
Week 4 - July 20 - July 25

- Fairy Finders- Fairy Tea Party. Always a big hit and we have cute photos on the FB
- Great RH Mystery- A week long mystery adventure! Find the missing thing from RH! (Last year they had to find the rainbow rock to bring good weather back to camp)
- Ready Aim Fire- Tie Dye Archery, Extra Archery Time
- Bon Appetit- Final Cooking Competition Challenge
- Brains- Zombie Survival! Test your skills at the end of the week as you face off against zombies
- Starry Night- Camp After Dark, Late Night Party
Week 5 - July 27 - August 1

- RH Camp Classic (B)- The biggest selling point is that it is the classic camp experience, friendships, fire, fun!
- To Infinity and Beyond- Field trip to Camp Wendy for cookout and stargazing!
- Wands and Wizardry (J)- Uncover the magical creatures at Rock Hill, brew up a special potion
- Follow Your Arrow- Tie Dye Archery, Earning the Archery Badge, Extra Archery Time
- Kraken Tank- Work ok developing Gold Award/ Business Ideas to pitch to camp staff
- Outpost II- 2 week primitive camping adventure!
Week 6 - August 3 - August 8
Week 6: August 3 - August 8
- Snacktastic- Beginning of the cooking skill pathway
- Hiking the Unknown- Map the trails at Rock Hill to find a hidden treasure
- Take the Stage- Put on a theater production from start to finish, Costume Design
- You can’t do THAT at Camp- Everything you wouldn’t think you could do at camp, fashion, spa day, late night karaoke
