GSHH Girl Scouts Participate in MLB Play Ball Weekend Kickoff
Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA) and Major League Baseball (MLB) are partnering this summer to encourage kids to get outside and play!
Girl Scouts is excited to announce a resource for new Daisy (K–1) troop leaders. Our complimentary Girl Scout Experience Box includes step-by-step instructions and supplies to help you lead confidently. Start a new Daisy troop by June 1 and you’ll also receive a PLAY BALL kit, * courtesy of Major League BaseballTM.
On Thursday, June 13th, GSUSA and MLB teamed up for a kickoff event in Times Square to celebrate the start of MLB PlayBall weekend. GIrl Scouts we invited to participate in games with MLB staff, current players, and help GSUSA's CEO Bonnie Barczykowski throw out a ceremonial first pitch to get the morning started.
Girl Scouts from GSHH's Larchmont/Mamaroneck and Yonkers Service Units we in attendance and had a fabulous experience participating in the activities.
