Arts on the Lake is a non-profit corporation that fosters performances, exhibits and art classes in Kent, NY.

The mission of Boscobel House and Gardens is to engage diverse audiences in the Hudson Valley’s ongoing, dynamic exchange between design, history, and nature.

Boscobel opened as a nonprofit museum sixty years ago. Built between 1804 and 1808, it was originally the dream house of wealthy Loyalists. By the 1950s, after falling into disrepair, it was demolished. Preservationists saved as many architectural fragments as possible and reassembled them fifteen miles north, where the Neoclassical mansion was restored back to—and even beyond—its original grandeur. Boscobel was saved as a beautiful piece of art.

The Brewster Theater Company is a 501(c)3 non-profit group that was established in the Fall of 2000. Our mission is to provide diverse theatrical productions of the highest quality to our community and surrounding areas. It is also our purpose to promote and encourage the community's participation in the theater, both on and off stage, and through opportunities such as workshops and informal play readings. We also intend to provide an avenue whereby local playwrights, poets and performing artists may bring their original works and talents to fruition.

Seven main stage productions are performed throughout the season. Additionally, our summer musicals have attracted audiences from the Putnam county, plus eastern Connecticut and neighboring Westchester and Dutchess counties. We also host special events such as Cabarets, an Evening of One Acts, play reading nights, children’s programs, and original works.

Clarence Fahnestock Memorial State Park is a delight for outdoor enthusiasts. This 14,086-acre park, covering land in Putnam and Dutchess counties, boasts hiking trails, picnic areas, scenic campground, and abundant opportunities for boating, hunting, fishing, and birding. The park is also home to the Taconic Outdoor Education Center, which provides high-quality environmental programming and Fahnestock Winter Park, which includes 20 kilometers of groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Visit MANITOGA, the House, Studio and Woodland Garden of pioneer industrial designer, Russel Wright (1904-1976), envisioned with his wife Mary Einstein Wright (d. 1952) for their family. Experience Dragon Rock, the experimental home which Wright built onto the rock ledge of an abandoned quarry while masterfully orchestrating the surrounding landscape into a series of outdoor rooms of varying character and delight.

Tours participants follow the upper Quarry path, enjoying stunning views of the Quarry Pool, House and Studio. An ascending stone stair leads to a mountain laurel grove and the exquisite moss rooms before crossing the majestic Waterfall over a wood plank bridge. Once at Dragon Rock, the House and Studio interiors are defined by expanses of glass, innovative materials use, and seamless connections to outside terraces.
