PROGRAM CENTER INFORMATION 2026-2027

Betty Taubert Program Center (Scarsdale). Please be aware that the Village of Scarsdale has use of the Betty Taubert Program Center Monday through Friday, 9AM to 3PM. Additionally , they have use of the upstairs on Saturday mornings between 9am and 12noon. If you would like to have an overnight at the Betty Taubert Program Center, please reach out to GSHH Member Care: membercare@girlscoutshh.org and cc: clarosa@girlscoutshh.org.

Camp Addisone Boyce (CAB) is the perfect place to get back to nature. CAB boasts a large lake where Girl Scouts can conduct pond studies, frog counts, and go fishing and work on their boating and PFD skills. CAB also has multiple trails for hiking, a pool for free swim and swim lessons, a low and high ropes course, an archery range, a large game field, and outdoor program spaces. There's something for all Girl Scouts at this camp!

Accommodations:

Four units, each with one cabin. Cabins have stovetop cooking and refrigerators. Water and bathroom facilities are in a separate building - a short distance from the cabins.
- Each cabin has a capacity of 9
- Each unit also offers a sheltered eating area with picnic tables, running water, and a fire circle.
Pitch tent areas are available as directed by CAB's camp ranger.
A centralized washhouse with flush toilets and hot showers
Dining Hall, Arts and Crafts Shelter, and Nature Hut can be used during the day as program spaces.

Camp Ludington is currently unavailable for reservations.

Camp Ludington is a 150-acre site, located just north of Lake Carmel in Dutchess County. Its natural beauty boasts an extensive hiking trail that intersects with the Appalachian Trail and provides a spectacular view of the surrounding area. Camp Ludington also has a lake for boating or fishing, an established letterboxing course, playfields, and a screened-in dining hall that overlooks the lake. In the winter, Camp Ludington is an excellent space for snowshoeing. This property is recommended for troops that have been camping before.

Accommodations:

Four units each with platform tents hosting 30-45 people, a kitchen shelter with picnic tables, and fireplaces. Latrines are in each unit.
Sheltered areas for badge work, troop meetings, or arts and crafts activities.

Camp Wendy has 56 acres of gently rolling hills, winding trails, beautiful forests and a 13-acre lake nestled in the foothills of the Shawangunks in the hamlet of Wallkill, Ulster County. It is also the home of the GSHH Archive Museum. The large lake can be used for boating or fishing.

Accommodations:

One platform tent unit with kitchen shelter and picnic tables, fireplace, and potable water. Unit capacities range from 15-30.
Martin Lodge is available year-round. There are nearby latrines. No water inside the lodge. Can sleep up to 20.
A central washhouse with flush toilets.
A central dining hall, letterboxing course, large playing field, and lake.

Camp Wendy is primarily used for troop and community camping, and outdoor programming. The camp can be rented for a day or overnight use. Selected spaces are available for rental year round.

Rock Hill's 190 wooded acres provide the perfect setting for a variety of activities allowing you and your girls several different ways to enjoy being outdoors! In addition to a lake for boating and swimming, there are hiking trails, an archery range, low, mid, and high ropes courses, a large game field, and plenty of program spaces for troop meetings, badge work, crafts, or games.

Accommodations:

Three winterized cabins with a kitchen, fireplace, flush toilets, and showers that hold 16 girls and 4 adults each.
Three platform tent units with flush toilets and hot showers, a kitchen shelter with picnic tables, and a fire circle. Each unit sleeps 18 people.
Dining Hall is also winterized and can hold up to 200 people for daytime activities.
Open-air pavilion attached to a large playfield
Explorer BYOP Deck: Bring Your Own Popup! This area can hold approximately four(4) two(2)-man tents for a total of 8 people.
Woodlander and Frontier are not available this year.

Rock Hill is available year-round for troop and community camping, troop and leader meetings, after-school programs, and special events. Rock Hill is used for GSHH resident camp in the summer. There is an on-site camp ranger year-round.

Named in memory of Fannie Fay Morrison, this house was originally built as a barracks by the Civilian Conservation Corp in the 1930s and has been in our possession for over 70 years.

This 4-room building has 2 meeting rooms, a kitchen with appliances as well as pots, pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, and a popcorn maker.

Until 1938, this building served as the little brick railroad station for the “Bump and Wobble” or the Boston-Westchester commuter train. Since then, the Larchmont Mamaroneck House has been well used by Girl Scouts.

This space has one large meeting room, a large kitchen with appliances, and an indoor and outdoor fireplace.

Built in 1958, this house was made possible by the profits from Girl Scout cookies. The Girl Scout House in Tuckahoe-Eastchester has meeting spaces on booth floors, kitchen facilities with appliances, two fireplaces, and a downstairs stage.

The outdoor steps are similar to the “Singing Steps” at Edith Macy National Conference Center.
