In 2005, this House was renamed the Betty Taubert Scarsdale Girl Scout House after Betty Taubert who worked tirelessly to advance Girl Scouting in Scarsdale. The House has two kitchens and upstairs and downstairs meeting rooms. A caretaker lives on the property Year Round Facility Accommodations: Kitchen, meeting room and large fireplace on the main level. Kitchen and overnight sleeping area (with mattresses) on the lower level. Size: Overnight capacity: 24 people - downstairs only. Day use: 100 people upstairs, 50 people downstairs. Parking: Unlimited in lot Usage: This house is used heavily by both the Girl Scouts and the Village of Scarsdale. The Village uses the building Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. when the Girl Scouts take over. It is also used for overnights. There is a tenant in residence in an apartment connected to the house.
