MONTEBELLO – Junior Girl Scout Troop 40720 from Viola Elementary School recently helped to collect used books and board games.
The books were donated to a school in New York City and the board games were fixed up and condensed. If pieces were missing, the extra pieces were used to make “Shoebox Tasks” for the Jesse Kaplan School in West Nyack.
The girls used all recycled materials to make the tasks and presented more than 70 of them to the school. Thr Journal News
