Centennial Gala -Thank You!
Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson would like to extend a warm thank you to the over 330 friends and supporters who joined us last night, March 15th, at our Centennial Gala honoring Women of Excellence and Leadership.
It was a once in a lifetime, memorable event filled with celebration and inspiration about the tremendous impact of Girl Scouting on girls for the past century!
We thank our wonderful hostess, Alexis Christoforous, our event Co-Chairs, Missy Carvin and Patricia Mulqueen, our Auction Chair, Eileen Wolfe, our Girl Scout volunteer speaker, Janice Paganelli, our Girl Scout speaker, Liza Sukra and all of our honorees for making the evening so very special.
We thank Ragan Whiteside and the Fam for spectacular muscial entertainment.
We salute our wonderful honorees, true women of leadership and excellence; Congresswoman Nita Lowey, actress Vanessa Williams, business entreprenuer, Elizabeth Bracken-Thompson, the "Watson Women" of IBM represented by Dr. Katharine Frase and our Young Women of Leadership and Excellence, Marissa Contento.
We were thrilled to have all of our honorees present at the event to accept their award and very much appreciated their heartfelt remarks.
