Medic FACPR: Complete, Recertification, & Blended 2/23/20 Montgomery 9:30am

Sun Feb 23, 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM EST
Montgomery Office
This course prepares you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies.  This course requires you to get up and down from a kneeling position and deliver high quality chest compressions and rescue breaths. Certification from this course is good for two years.

You have three options for completing your FACPR certification at this course: attending the complete in-person course, renewing an existing unexpired Medic FACPR certification, or completing a blended learning course which includes an online class that must be completed before the date of this course.

If you do not complete the steps as listed below, you will have to pay to register for a new course.  Contact Penny Crispin if you have questions.

Option 1: Complete Course
The complete classroom course is 4.5 hours.  There are no prerequisites for completing your certification by attending this course.  Bring your lunch or snacks.  Course fee: $35.00.

Option 2: Recertification
Renewal of an unexpired Medic FA/CPR certification is approximately the first 3 hours of the full course. You must bring your unexpired certification card. Course fee: $35.00.

Option 3: Blended Learning
The Blended learning option has an online class that must be completed prior to this in-person course.  Within one week of registering, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to complete the online class, which will take approximately 3 hours and may be paused and resumed. When you complete the online class with a passing score, you will receive a certificate of completion. You must bring this certificate with you to the in-person course.  The in-person skills portion is approximately the first 3 hours of the full course.  Course fee: $40.00.

Refund policy
GSHH has a no refund policy. If a cancellation request is made at least two weeks in advance of the training, your registration fee may be transferred to another adult learning opportunity. Registration fees are not held as credits, so your fee must be applied to another adult learning opportunity at the time that you call to request a transfer of funds.  Refunds are only issued for events that are cancelled by GSHH staff or rescheduled to a date that a participant is not able to attend.
