We’re so glad you’re thinking of becoming a volunteer. Before you get started helping girls discover a world of new (and maybe even learning some fun new things yourself), we ask that you fill out our Girl Scout volunteer interest form. If you seem like a good fit, we may ask you to submit additional documents—we want to make sure that our girls (and our volunteers) can enjoy experiences in a safe, positive environment.
Take a look at Karen's Story.
A few important things to keep in mind when becoming a volunteer:
- All volunteers who work directly with girls and/or handle troop monies will be asked to release personal information to Girl Scouts for a criminal records check using one or more third party vendors.
- All volunteers who transport more than seven (7) passengers in their personal vehicle will have to provide a driving record for the state in which they hold a license. The proper driver’s license endorsement is also required.
If approved, we'll be in touch so you can start training to become a member of our community. An hour a week can make a world of a difference in a girl’s life—and we couldn’t do it without you. We look forward to learning more about you.
