Administrative Help your local Girl Scout offices complete office duties that ultimately make all Girl Scout activities possible. You can help with large office mailings, data entry and more. Dedicate an afternoon to help the council with administrative tasks.
Adult learning facilitators Facilitate training course outlines and modules for adult volunteers; Basic Orientation, Leadership Essentials, Outdoor Skills, and more.
Episodic Volunteer Mentor girls in something you are passionate about for an afternoon, two days a month or more in one of our 100 council-sponsored programs!
Leader/Advisor Develop girl/adult partnership by planning and implementing the Girl Scout program in a troop/group setting for weekly or bimonthly meetings with girls.
Program Lead activities with other adults for girls of various ages. These workshop help girls work together as a team, build self-confidence and challenge themselves.

Adult Recognitions Coordinator Track recipients of GSHH and GSUSA awards for an individual Community. Present local awards and organize nominations of local volunteers for awards presented at GSHH Annual Meeting and Adult Recognition Ceremony.
Annual Giving Community Chair Coordinate Annual Giving within a local community by ensuring each troop has a Family Campaign Chair, attend council training, conduct training and support for local troops. Culminate campaign with the collection of funds from the troops and by making bank deposits.
Community Camping On-Site Coordinator Oversee Community Camping paperwork and safety before, during and after the event.
Consultant Provide assistance, guidance, direct service, and counseling to help leaders establish and maintain an attractive Girl Scout program which meets the needs of girls
Delegate Represent the membership of Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson at Council meetings.
Cookie Chair To manage Girl Scout Community Cookie Product Sale program and Troop Cookie Chairs
Fall Product Sale Chair To manage Girl Scout Community Fall Product Sale program and Troop Fall Product Sale Chairs
Public Relations Coordinator Promotes visibility and community awareness of Girl Scouts through a variety of avenues.
Registrar Process membership registrations
Secretary Records and distributes minutes at Community Leadership Team Meetings.
Treasurer To maintain accurate records of the community bank account and keep a record of all troop accounts in the community
Troop Organizer Provide a process for offering Girl Scout Program to girls
Volunteer Community Chair Is responsible for representing Girl Scouting to the community at large and works with the community leadership team to develop, extend and maintain Girl Scouting throughout the community

Annual Giving Community Chair Attends training at the council level then facilitates training and distributes paperwork to Community Leaders (Troop Chairperson) for the Annual Giving Campaign. With the VCC, dates to run the campaign are chosen. He/she is responsible to collect all the envelopes from the Troop Chairs. He/she then processes gift, makes bank deposits, completes a bookkeeping form then turns in all paperwork to council. This person must support the council initiatives and have availability.
Annual Giving Alumnae Chair Attends training at the council level then works to establish or maintain an alumnae listing for their community. He/she then mails out materials provided by council to Alumnae. He/she then keeps channels of communication open between Alumnae and Community/Council.
Annual Giving Company Connection Chair Attends training at the council level then coordinates an organized effort to solicit the small businesses in their community. Materials are provided by council to distribute or mail. He/she then reports solicitation efforts in bookkeeping form and returns it to council.
Annual Giving Special Events Chair Attends training at the council level then coordinates and runs a special event where proceeds are designated towards Annual Giving. He/she then turns in a report form to council.

Annual Giving Troop Chairperson Attends training at the community level then works with the Troop Leader to have a correct listing and contact information of the active girls in that troop. He/she is responsible to distributes and collect campaign materials to/from Parents. He/she then turns in the unopened donations in an envelope provided by council to the Annual Giving Community Chair. This person must support the council initiatives, be able to ask families to support council and have availability.

Council Annual Giving Advisory Committee Members Individual Orientation and Training is provided by council. Members of this committee meet in the Spring and early Summer to: review the current Annual Giving materials, work as a team to create the next theme of the campaign and develop the volunteer letter of the Family Mailer. They also meet in the Fall and Winter to: work with volunteers to help separate and count Annual Giving materials. He/she is available to help council members during Annual Giving Trainings if needed. This person must support the council initiatives.
Council Annual Giving Volunteers Individual Training is provided by council. Volunteers needed in Late Summer and Early Fall, for sorting and counting Annual Giving materials. Volunteers needed in the Winter and Spring to help with data entry.
Council Archives Volunteers Attends training at the National Level. He/she is responsible for the preservation of Girl Scout memorabilia consisting of uniforms and accessories, insignia, publications, photos, newspaper clippings, audio and videotapes, films and other memorabilia of Girl Scouting, both local and national. He/she will work collaboratively with other archives volunteers to organize, catalog and display such memorabilia for the council. This person should have an appreciation for the history of Girl Scouting in the Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson Council and in the United States of America.
Green Hat/Alumnae Volunteer Serve the council by keeping the channels of communication open between girls who are no longer active, attend a meeting or two and have fun.
