| | Description: | The Treasure Tree began in December 2001 by WMC/MFCH Community Liaison Chaplain Anne Gentile. The program exists in order to develop a compassionate caring healthcare community and lessen the pain experienced by children, families, friends, doctors, nurses and medical staff who serve the crisis culture. The Treasure Tree Program is focused on youth in community specifically to make hospitals “user friendly” to children, introduce youth to their own healing power by doing good deeds, to foster the appreciation of our healthcare providers, to place ‘Sanctuaries’ where wishes/prayers may be written by all to receive solace and connect with a source of hope and healing. We also support individual and group clean ups in any chosen area of Rockland County. | | Description: | Keep Rockland Beautiful will be hosting community clean up events throughout Rockland County during April and May.
