Description:As part of KDAY 2012 (a Girl Scout softball event held as a memorial for Troop 1439 member, Kayla Donohue, and her mother, Lori, who were killed by a drunk driver in June 2009) Brewster Girl Scouts created Flat Juliettes who are ready for adventures. We are looking for communities or troops or individual Girl Scouts who can take a Juliette on an adventure, complete a scrapbook page, and either send her on to another Girl Scout for further adventures or return her to us in Brewster.

Description:Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and greet Boy & Girl Scouts from Israel. Spend the evening learning about scouting in Israel as well as watching a musical performance. The Israeli Scouts travel to the US with the purpose of spreading friendship through song and dance. This event is open to scouts of all ages and their leaders. Space is limited.

Description:A Memorial Event for Kayla Donohue, who was killed by a drunk driver on 6/8/09. Softball games/clinics, community service activities, crafts, games, troop led activities. Our theme is “Connections”. We are looking to connect with Girl Scouts all around the Hudson Valley. We encourage troops to bring a poster board depicting accomplishments/activities of their troop and to bring an activity which others can participate in – songs, crafts, SWAPs, games, etc. Come see our Flat Juliette project! We have connected with troops in 40 states and 6 foreign countries. These troops have shared scrapbook pages about their adventures across the country. Be inspired!

Description:Grab your blanket, chairs, picnic baskets, friends and family members and come down to Matthiessen Park on Saturday June 1, between 1:00-5:00 pm for a wonderful afternoon of inspiring live music, art, food, and family friendly activities. We’ve got incredible local talent like Ruby Reilly, Emily Blumenthal, Julia Battistin, Jessie Lambiase, Juliette Morris, Isabelle Knezevic and others. Food for purchase from local vendors like Geordane’s and Red Barn, hands on games and crafts for all ages.
