GIRL SCOUTS HEART OF THE HUDSON TO HOST
ALUMNAE TEA AT BOSCOBEL MANSION

Pleasantville, NY — All Girl Scout adult alumnae and supporters are invited to join Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson for a formal tea, celebration of Girl Scout traditions, and house and garden tour at historic Boscobel in Garrison on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 1 – 5 p.m., rain or shine.

The early part of the afternoon, from 1-2:30 p.m., will feature a formal tea, a Girl Scout ceremony for adults (during which they will add their own personal reminiscences to a Girl Scout “memory wall”), and remarks by Girl Scout alumna Janet Hasson, president and publisher of the Journal News Media Group. Following the program, guests will be free to take self-guided and docent guided tours of the beautiful Boscobel and its gardens at their leisure.

Girl Scout alumnae who attended camp, belonged to a troop, volunteered as an adult as a troop leader, or have been involved in any way with Girl Scouts, whether here in the Hudson Valley or far away, are all welcome to attend.

Tickets are $45 per person, with advance registration required because seating is limited. Click here to make reservations, or contact Mary Ellen Walsh, 914-747-3080 ext. 739.

Save the Date for the next Girl Scout Alumnae event, “Sparkle for a Cause” at Crabtree’s Kittle House, Chappaqua, NY, on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 6pm.
