So many of you have requested it, this year’s Earth Day Celebration is better than ever before. Earth Day celebrations are the first step in creating a generation that is compassionate and concerned about the planet. By participating in our Earth Day celebrations girls will learn that, no matter how big or small, they can become leaders and innovators who can help spread the word that the stewardship of the planet is a job for everyone. Come join us for a late afternoon/early evening Earth Day Celebration at Rock Hill Camp offering hands-on workshops involving Earth Day crafts, environmental studies, wildlife education and more.  Learn how you can teach and lead others to a cleaner and healthier earth.   We will take a short break for an early "Paper Bag Dinner" then gather for our own Forever Green "Scouts Own" Earth Day Ceremony followed by a campfire sing-a-long. Don't forget to have each girl pack a bag lunch, dress for the weather; rain or shine, and to wear closed toed shoes.
