This 9 day tour will take us throughout Costa Rica where you will explore the tropical rainforests, visit a crocodile farm, take a canopy tour and kayaking excursion, and hike to La Fortuna Waterfall. Throughout the time there, participate in environmental immersion discovering solutions to stabilizing the ecosystems involved; assist with seed collection and cleaning protected mangrove areas. Participants will also spend a day with local school children, visit the National Institute of Biodiversity where you can get up close and personal with frogs, bees, tarantulas, and butterflies, and attend a folklore evening.
Please note: This is a girl-centered trip. NOT a parent-daughter trip.
Please note: In addition to registering with council, you must also reserve your spot with EF Tours. There will be a $95 registration fee and monthly or bi-weekly payments to follow.
