…Girls discover financial literacy, team-building and self-confidence.
…Girls connect with their customers, their community and each other.
…Girls take action by using their time and skills to participate in service projects that could change the world!
…We had the best Girl Scout Cookie Program ever!

This can all happen as part of Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson’s (GSHH) 2009 Girl Scout cookie campaign!

Dates to Remember:

Door
-to-door orders will be taken March 2-23; deliveries will begin in mid-April.
Pick up your Booth and Goal
-Getter cookies at the GSHH cookie cupboards from mid-April through Memorial Day!

New this Year:

Daisies will be able to participate in the Girl Scout cookie program for the first time! Special Girl Scout Daisy Cookie Activity Welcome Kits will be sent to each Daisy troop to introduce them to the 2009 “Imagine If…” program!

The new Dulce de Leche (DOOL-seh deh LEH-chay) cookies are as fun to say as they are to eat! Inspired by the classic confections of Latin America, these sweet, indulgent cookies are rich with milk caramel chips and stripes! Plus you’ll be able to enjoy all of your favorite cookie classics: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Lemon Chalet Crèmes, and Sugar Free Chocolate Chips.

Take Action: Girl Scout Cookies Make a World of Difference!

Operation Cookie Drop
In 2008, Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson sent more than 41,500 boxes of cookies to service people in the US and abroad. In 2009, wouldn’t it be thrilling to say that girls from GSHH were able to send more than 50,000, or even 60,000, boxes of cookies to these deserving recipients? We sure think so, and we plan on making this year’s Operation Cookie Drop bigger and better than ever! Just collect boxes of cookies through the Gift of Caring program to donate to Operation Cookie Drop, get them to a designated storage area, and maybe even help the military personnel load the trucks!

Be sure to check Currents as well as the GSHH and Little Brownie Bakers web pages for great cookie program activities and information!

Trainings
Cookie trainings have occurred in all regions of our council with our Product Sales Managers and the representative from Little Brownie Baker.  Please feel free to use these presentations in your local communities and troops.
