Come experience a sport that has been around for centuries. Learn what a knock point is and why the fletching on the arrow are different colors! Work on your stance, draw, and release…Zingggg! This 75 minute workshop will give each girl a chance to test her new skills in a safe and fun way. Watch the weather, dress for the outdoors and please no open toed shoes. Juniors will earn parts of the Sports Sampler Badge; Cadettes parts of the Sports for Life IPP.

Description: Cruise to Cadettes is for Girl Scout Juniors who are bridging into Girl Scout Cadettes. Girls will rotate through a series of workshops that will introduce them to Cadette Girl Scouting while their leaders attend a leader training. The workshops are fun and informative and will get the girls excited about moving on up to the next level in Girl Scouts. Most of the workshops will be facilitated by Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. Troops registered for this event will receive details regarding what to bring, what bridging steps will be completed and what steps are left for the troop/girl to complete. A participation patch and snack are included in the program fee.
Cost: $8.00 per girl

Low Ropes Challenge Course
Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors
Description: Is your troop up to the challenge? This 75-minute workshop will consist of a series of real and imaginary obstacles designed to pool your troop’s resources as they work together. Even though the low-ropes elements are close to the ground, the troop will need to combine their physical strength, stamina, agility, balance and flexibility. Only when all the members of the troop team up and contribute to the outcome will the challenge be met. Each person’s physical ability is not an issue. This is a team initiative; no one can be singled out. Don’t miss the fun and excitement!
Cost: $55.00 per troop
Please Note: At least six girls per troop are required to participate in this program.

Core Staff Camping for Troops
Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors
Description: It has never been this fun and easy. Come experience all the fun and exciting activities that are usually only available at summer camp. During our time together the camp will be staffed with program facilitators who will provide activities for everyone. The staff/volunteers running the core camp experience will provide all the logistical arrangements, project supplies and certified instructors. All you have to do is show up and enjoy a great camp experience. Activities will include boating, archery, low ropes challenge course, hiking or nature activities and an evening campfire and sing-a-long. This is a tent camping experience. Each troop must have an Outdoor Overnight Trained Adult. All meals are the responsibility of the troop.

Our big spinning world is teeming with energy starting with the abundance of energy in your crew of Girl Scout Juniors. In Girl Scouting, using energy wisely is often about acting thoughtfully to make something better. When girls join together to develop and encourage personal skills, they energize themselves both as individuals and as a group.
